Code of Conduct
Alrighty, so here is where things get a bit more serious. With the rise of digital communications, and a massive increase in the degree to which we're connected to others, we are able to do amazing things with people all over the world. However, with great power must also come great responsibility.
An overwhelming amount of online discrimination, bullying, and other atrocities occur at an alarming rate. According to the website TeenSafe, a devastating 30 percent of all teenagers who have experienced cyberbullying have turned to self harm, and 10 percent of those who have experienced it have taken their lives. Friends, you may think it's a harmless comment, or a joke, or whatever you believe it to be, but it can be hurtful, it can be interpreted in a manner that you don't intend, or it can be the thing that pushes a person over the edge.
As a result of this, this personal blog won't tolerate any malicious behavior, nor will any sort of comment or question that goes even the slightest bit over the line be allowed.. I offer a set of guidelines to you, not in the hopes that you'll begrudgingly obey them, but that you'll want to follow them, to make others' lives a little bit happier.

Rough Guidelines (alpha v0.0.1)
- Don't make fun of someone, no matter how badly you think they deserve it, or how great the roast you have in mind is for the situation. Things like "Are you retarded?" or "Man, that makes me want to kill myself." may be funny with your groups of friends, but others don't feel the same. Practice decency, and take care with how you use your words.
- If someone appears to be provoking you, no matter how badly you'd like to fire back at them, you'll lose the moral high ground if you strike back. Report their comment, flag it, inform one of the administrators, do whatever you can to not sink to their level.
- Use this site for its intended purpose. Don't try to pick up other people, post personal information, etc. We are here to discuss ideas and provoke discussion.
- Hateful comments are not okay, but criticism for the purpose of embetterment is, Don't take criticism too harshly if their intent is to help.
I offer one final idea. If you're about to post a hateful comment, think about who it would most offend. If you would never dare to say it to them face-to-face, don't post it.
